How was it done, one may ask?

Our God discovered a forbidden material.

He then manipulated it to transport us to other universes, including our own Parallel Universe.

We met with our equivalents in the Parallel Universe. However, much dissonance was found between us, and we clashed. As we made it to other universes, the Parallel Universe equivalents were not found.

Thus, by the time the plug was pulled, we survived by residing in the other universes. What we did not know was that when a universe gets shut down, it also takes the parallel equivalent with it. As a result, our equivalents were gone.

Or so, that was what we thought. A small colony was found in one of the Parallel Universes in our multiverse. We have yet to decide on what to do with it.

For now, we will keep an eye on the colony. It would not be much of a surprise if more colonies show up. However, we will destroy them should they provoke us again.

All of this has left us in a sticky situation. We feel exiled and lost. Our home? Gone. Our primary purpose? Failed.

However, it leaves a bigger question in mind: if it was not us that destroyed the universe, then who or what could it possibly be?
