This article is about Obscurity Laboratory 02. For its predecessor, see Obscurity Laboratory 01.
Obscurity Laboratory 02 is the second iteration of Obscurity. It is a laboratory in a desolate desert found in the Athabasca Sand Dunes, an ideal location due to these sand dunes being in an unexpected location in the world.
Its test subjects are:
Its staff are:
It is hidden underneath the sand and ground beneath, requiring a trapdoor to be opened by scanning an ID card on the nearest pole that surrounds the trapdoor. Resupply is rare, so much of the food is grown in artificial greenhouses in the base, or is acquired by hunting missions set out by the staff. Water obtainment is done via a groundwater well found in the main room of the laboratory. It also has an automatic defense system to attack against intruders to prevent the incident from happening again, as well as monitoring of every location in the laboratory. Each test subject has a cell that correponds to their test subject ID. These cells can be found one floor below the main floor via a ramp and a staircase. Access to technology is limited, but is still used by both staff and test subjects. Networking is achieved with satellites sending signals to the poles that surround the laboratory's entrance.
Finding locations to raid the laboratory are very few and far away from the desirable location. In addition to this, all of these locations correspond to a well. While water isn't a huge problem for someone like me, the malice absorbs the water, causing it to expand. If the malice consumes too much, it will begin ripping itself apart, killing me in the process. Ultimately, this has led to me with only one method of sufficiently entering the laboratory: break open the entrance door.
A-120 and Cold Conjurer, I hope you're ready for my arrival...
